Drowning In Ideas.
Wow, I haven’t actually written anything here in a while. I’ve just been so busy with my own stuff and to be honest, because of summer vacations everyones on tumblr more now so it makes it such a pain in the toe to check through my dash. I find myself falling asleep as I’m scrolling, and then I get annoyed at myself for keeping myself up. What’s the point?!
I’ve been working on so much stuff lately. I’ve been having crazy ideas from left and right. I was writing in my Gratitude Journal and I was thinking in my head, oh man, I can feel it, the creative juices are going to start flowing soon.. and BAM. They’re flowing alright, and I’m about to drown in all the ideas in my head.
Ever since I started to put my photography stuff out there, and telling people about it, the ideas I’ve been having are incredible, and they just keep coming. Photo shoot ideas, outfit ideas, spots, locations, angles, poses, themes. The list is never ending. Keep in mind, to be able to make my vision or my ideas a reality, My friend and I are going to be making the outfits ourselves. I’ve been sketching away at what I want to do, everything’s categorized into the different themes. Spots where I can take these photos to set the proper mood.. It shall be interesting and I’m pretty stoked about it.
In between people have been contacting me about my photography and how they would like to use my services. The meetings, all the messaging, trying to vision everything and how it’s going to be like, all that stuff. Photo shoots, editing photos, and all that stuff. It’s tough stuff. Who said photography was easy? When people are paying you, you want to do the best job you can possibly do!
I’m in the process of editing pictures from a birthday shoot I had on Saturday. I hadn’t used photo shop in about over a year, so I’ve been getting refreshers from one of my best friend, Nicole (@distressxcoma). Thank goodness, that saved some stress and sweat. It’s hard when you’re trying to edit photos and you’re working on a Net book. The screen is smaller and ugh, not good. I need to buy a laptop! I don’t know why, but I’ve been getting distracted. I find myself editing and making other things instead. Ugh, I frustrate myself. I got a late start since the past weekend was the Canada Day long weekend and I was busy everyday!
I’ve been busy working on my new business cards and banners. It went alright for the first half, and then photo shop started messing me up and yeah. I had to restart a couple times, but it’s okay, I think they get better as time goes on. The design, the layout, all that stuff. I’m almost done and pretty stoked about it! I was also planning on buying Thank You cards, but then I thought, hey, what’s more professional then having your own? So I’m going to be working on that soon too!
I’ve been brainstorming on website names, so that I can make a website, so that’s in the works as well. Hopefully I just pick a name and start working on that soon!
I’ve been working on artwork, I’ve been painting a couple pieces that I’m hoping to sell. Again, sketching ideas that I have so I don’t forget them. All that crazy stuff. I’ve been working on some crafts too. I have a million ideas, and I’m going to accomplish everything.
And all the other things in between of doing everything slows you down.. work, sleep, relaxing, running around.. it’s just been really hectic. And people don’t believe me when I say I’m tired. I’m literally over-working my self! But if I don’t do all this stuff, who will? I want everything done, and if I don’t work on it, how is it going to get done? I wish that when I say, I’m tired, people would stop going, oh yeah, I woke up at 6am and I did this, this, that, and that. I mean, if you’re trying to put yourself in my shoes and prove to me that I’m not, then shut up. No one will understand. Like honestly.. My jobs and tasks are not that easy.
I should really start editing the photos again, 3 hours before work, that should be enough time to get some stuff done! Adios, friends. What friends, who actually sits there and reads my rants…. no one! Meh. Ciao for now!
